Day 1: Arrive in Nairobi
Arrive into Nairobi at any time and be transferred to the Safari Park Hotel in the city centre. Enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure.
Days 2-3: Game Viewing in the Masai Mara
Set out early this morning in a 4x4 minibus over the Rift Valley Escarpment as you head to the Mara Sopa Lodge just outside the Masai Mara National Reserve. Along the way, stop for some stunning photos of the valley. Embark on an afternoon game drive in the reserve searching for wildlife.
Enjoy a morning and afternoon game drive in this world-famous park as you continue to explore the vast plains and rolling hills for wildlife such as lions, elephants, and zebras.
Day 4: Spotting Flamingos in Lake Nakuru
Travel after breakfast through the picturesque farmland of central Kenya for the Lake Nakuru National Park. Following a brief game drive, stop at the Lake Nakuru Lodge for lunch. Head back out into the park in the afternoon for a more extensive game drive before returning to the lodge for dinner.
Days 5-6: Gazing Upon Kilimanjaro in Amboseli
Heading back through the Rift Valley and Nairobi drive to the Amboseli Sopa Lodge in the renowned Amboseli National Park. Partake on a game drive as you make your way to the lodge inside the park.
The next day, embark on a morning and afternoon game viewing experience in the park. Search for lions and elephants under the shadow of the mighty Kilimanjaro.
Day 7: Crossing into Tanzania
Today you will travel to the Namanga border post and after crossing the border, transfer to another 4x4 safari vehicle for your drive to the Lake Manyara Serena Lodge for dinner.
Days 8-9 : Searching for the Big 5 in the Serengeti
Wake up early for a morning game drive in the Lake Manyara National Park searching for the famous tree-climbing lions. Return to the lodge for lunch.
Afterwards, drive through the Ngorongoro Conservation area to the famous Serengeti National Park. Once inside the park, embark on a game drive as you make your way to the Serengeti Sopa Lodge.
The next day continue your game viewing experience in this world-renowned park as you search for the wildlife you may have missed yesterday.
Days 10-11: Descending into the Ngorongoro Crater
After a morning game drive in the Serengeti, you’ll exit the park and drive through the Ngorongoro Conservation area to the Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge.
Stop along the way to visit the Olduvai Gorge and have a picnic lunch. The rest of the day will be yours to enjoy the views of Ngorongoro Crater below.
This morning depart early for your descent into the stunning Ngorongoro Crater. Thanks to the high walls, and enclosed space, the Crater is one of East Africa’s best game viewing parks with most of the large game and big cats on the crater floor.
Day 12: Game Driving in the Tarangire National Park
Make your way to the lesser-visited Tarangire National Park in time for lunch at the Tarangire Sopa Lodge. Set out, later, on an afternoon game drive in search of elephants. The park has one of the largest concentrations of them in Africa.
Day 13: Ending Your Tour in Nairobi
Embark on a small game drive as you leave the Tarangire National Park and begin your journey home to Nairobi. Stop in Arusha for lunch and a small tour of the town before heading to the border.
After the border formalities, cross into Kenya and continue to Nairobi for dinner. Your tour will end after dinner. Ask your Africa Safari Expert for transfer arrangements.
