    Days 1: Making Your Way through Panorama Route

    Leaving from Johannesburg, early in the morning, travel through the scenic province of Mpumalanga to the border of Swaziland. The route consists of Bourke’s Luck Potholes and the Blyde River Canyon including God’s Window and Three Rondavels.The night will be enjoyed with a traditional Shangaan Dinner with dancing.

    Days 2-3: Kruger National Park

    This morning we pack up and head towards the world famous Kruger National Park and immediately begin our first game drive in our truck. Truly the flagship of the South African national parks. We will spend the day driving through the park in our truck to see all the diverse species of plants and animals

    We will make the most of our day travelling through the Kruger National Park in search of wildlife

    Days 4-5: Kruger to Swaziland

    Leaving from Kruger, early in the morning, travel through the border of Swaziland. After crossing the border, continue through Swaziland until you arrive at the Hlane Royal National Park – home to lions, elephants, and white rhino. This nature reserve, previously a private hunting area for the royal family, will be your stop for two nights, and offers a variety of optional activities for you to do. Take the opportunity to explore this fantastic reserve on foot, on bike or organise a game drive with a local ranger.

    Days 6-7: Swimming in the Ocean at Praia do Tofo

    This morning say goodbye to Swaziland as you cross the border into Mozambique and travel north along the coast to Praia do Tofo. 

    There are quite a few optional activities that can be organised here over the next two days. Wander the town of Praia do Tofo, go surfing, or grab some snorkeling equipment and explore some of Africa’s most amazing snorkeling spots. Depending on the time of year, Tofo is a great location to view the world’s largest fish – the whale shark.

    Day 8: Overnight in Vilanculos

    Today you’ll continue up the coast to Vilanculos – the launching point to the Bazaruto Archipelago. Stop along the way to do some souvenir shopping at a local craft market.

    Days 9 : Sailing a Dhow to the Bazaruto Archipelago

    Experience one of Mozambique’s premier attractions as you board a traditional sailing vessel, called a Dhow, and sail to the Bazaruto Archipelago. Spend the next two days relaxing on the beach, swimming in the Indian Ocean, or snorkel in southern Africa’s largest marine park checking out the amazing marine life.

    Days 10-11: Relaxing on the Beach in Inhambane

    Travel through some stunning coconut plantations to just outside of the old Portuguese settlement of Inhambane. The area around your campsite is very relaxed and is right on some incredible beaches. 

    The next few days will be yours to enjoy the time you have here. Enjoy the many new and old activities, such as horse back riding, quad biking, or snorkeling off the beach.

    Day 12: Touring the Historic City of Maputo

    Continue south to the capital of Mozambique, Maputo, where you’ll partake in a city tour, including the Fort of Nossa Senhora da Conceiao, to learn about this old historic town. After the tour, return to your campsite just north of the city.

    Days 13 : Maputo to Graskop

    This morning you will have the opportunity to participate in a tour through Maputo, taking you through the historical Baixa area, the magnificent CFM train station (which was featured in Leonardo Di Caprio’s Blood Diamond) and whose dome is designed by Gustav Eiffel, Independence Square, the old fort, the botanical gardens and the Maputo Cathedral. After the city tour, we depart Maputo and return to South Africa and overnight in the town of Graskop.

    En route, we will stop in Pilgrims Rest to explore this unique town. The entire town of Pilgrims Rest was declared a national monument in 1986 as a living memory of the early gold rush days in South Africa.

    Day 14: Scenic Drive Along the Panorama Route

    Wake up early and start your travels along the breathtaking Panorama Route, stopping at the Blyde River Canyon, God’s Window, and the Bourkes Luck Potholes, to Johannesburg. 

    Your tour will officially end upon your arrival to Johannesburg, however, maybe you’d want to organise one final dinner (not included) with your group at one of Johannesburg’s many excellent restaurants.
