    Day 1: Driving to Etosha National Park

    Your journey begins with an early morning departure from Windhoek for the Etosha National Park. Stop briefly along the way in Otjiwarongo to stretch your legs before arriving at the lodge just before lunch. Continue after a picnic lunch and spend the rest of the afternoon exploring this unique game park. Arrive at your lodge inside the park around the time of sunset.

    Day 2: Game Drives in Etosha National Park

    The next day, leave the lodge at sunrise so you can maximise your game viewing time. After a couple hours of spotting wildlife, stop for a light breakfast at a secure spot. For the rest of the morning visit several of the water holes to try and catch the 4 of the Big 5 that live in the park.

    As the day heats up, return to the Halali Camp for lunch and some time to get out of the sun. Once the heat breaks, head out again searching for elephants, lions, and giraffes for the remainder of the afternoon. That evening enjoy a delicious meal prepared by your guide before wandering over to the floodlit waterhole.

    Day 3: Making Your Way to Swakopmund

    This morning drive to the coastal town of Swakopmund, stopping en-route to have a light lunch put together by your guide. 

    Arriving in the late afternoon, the rest of the day will be yours to explore this idyllic town on foot before retiring for the night at the Hotel A La Mer.

    Day 4: Hiking in the Naukluft Mountaints

    After breakfast, the morning is free to partake in any of optional activities on offer, such as quad biking in the dunes. Otherwise, just wander the town streets, getting a coffee and pastry (own expense) at one of the many cafes. 

    In the early afternoon, say goodbye to Swakopmund and make your way south through the Kusieb Valley for the Naukluft mountain range. Once at the camp, take a moment to relax before embarking on a short walk into the mountains to watch a stunning sunset.

    Day 5: Walking Through the Dead Vlei

    Depart at dawn on your second day in the Namib-Naukluft National Park for Sossusvlei and the world’s highest sand dunes. Explore this impressive area on foot as you slowly make your way to the unique Dead Vlei – a bleached clay pan dotted with dead camel thorn trees. 

    On your way back to the camp, stop at the impressive Dune 45 and climb this famous massive sand dune.

    Day 6: Returning to Windhoek

    After breakfast start your journey back to Windhoek passing through the towns of Solitaire and Rehoboth. Your tour will end once you are dropped off at your accommodation.
