    Day 1: Driving to Lake Manyara

    Arrive into Arusha and be met by your guide who will transfer you through the Rift Valley to the Lake Manyara Serena Lodge. Enjoy the views from the top of the escarpment as you have dinner at the lodge.

    Days 2-3: Game Viewing in the Serengeti National Park

    Wake up early and set out on a game drive of ecologically-diverse Lake Manyara National Park searching for the tree-climbing lions that the park is famous for. Return to the lodge for a delicious lunch. 

    Afterwards, drive through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area to the world-famous Serengeti National Park. Embark on a small game drive, looking out for zebra and wildebeest, as you make your way to the Serengeti Sopa Lodge.

    The next day head out on full day of game viewing as you search for the ‘Big 5’ and other wildlife. Stop briefly for lunch, back at the lodge, during the heat of the day before continuing your game spotting.

    Day 4: Travelling Through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area

    Set off on a morning game drive as you drive out of the Serengeti into the Ngorongoro Conservation Area as you travel to the Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge. Visit the Olduvai Gorge as you break for a picnic lunch along the way.

    Day 5: Descending into the Ngorongoro Crater

    After an early breakfast, descend into the renowned Ngorongoro Crater for one of the best game viewing experiences in East Africa. 

    The Crater is home to most of the large mammals and offers a fascinating diversity of flora and fauna. Enjoy a delicious picnic lunch on the crater floor.

    Day 6: Exploring the Tarangire National Park

    Get one last look into the Ngorongoro Crater before you travel to the lesser-known Tarangire National Park and your lodge for the night, the Tarangire Sopa Lodge. 

    Later, partake in an afternoon game drive in search of the park’s famous large herds of elephants and its tree-climbing pythons.

    Day 7: Flying to Stone Town

    Embark on a small game drive as you depart the Tarangire National Park for Arusha. Tour the town as you have lunch before heading to the Arusha Airport for your scheduled flight to Zanzibar. 

    Once on the ‘spice island,’ you’ll transfer to the centrally located Tembo House Hotel in Stone Town. Enjoy the rest of the day to explore this fascinating town. Wander the narrow streets, check out some of the craft shops, or order a spiced drink at a cafe and watch the people go by.

    Days 8-10: Soaking Up the Sun on Zanzibar

    Enjoy a relaxing morning on the beach or exploring more of the Stone Town before transferring to the Breezes Beach Club on the east coast of the island. Enjoy the rest of the day on the white sands of the Bwejuu Beach.

    Spend the next 2 days partaking in the optional activities on offer by the resort. Hire a kayak to explore the coast, learn to kite surf, book an excursion to snorkel/dive one of the local reefs, or take an excursion to view the dolphins or monkeys in Jozani Forest.

    Day 11: Say Goodbye to the Spice Island

    Transfer back to the Zanzibar International Airport for your on-going travels. Your tour ends upon your arrival at the airport.
