    Day 1: Cross into Botswana

    Your journey starts with a drive to the Botswana border and onto the town of Ghanzi. After setting up camp, meet the local bushman (San) community and watch as they perform some traditional tribal dancing.

    Day 2: Fly Over the Okavango Delta

    Today head to the gateway of the Okavango Delta, Maun and prepare an overnight bag for your 2-night excursion into the world’s largest inland delta. If time permits, take the opportunity to do an optional scenic flight over the Delta to see where you’ll be going tomorrow.

    Days 3-4: Explore the Unique Okavango Delta

    This morning board a 4x4 truck to take you into the outer edge of the Delta and a poling station where you’ll meet with the local community to take you further into the Delta. At the poling station, you alight a traditional dugout canoe, called a mokoro, for the rest of your 2-night excursion. 

    Once inside the Delta your guides will find a suitable spot where you’ll bush camp for the next two days. From here, head out on walks searching for wildlife and learning about this unique ecosystem.

    Day 5: Relax at the Planet Baobab Camp

    Say goodbye to the Delta as you make your way east to the Planet Baobab, your accommodation for the night. Explore the bush around the campsite as you marvel at the massive Baobab trees.

    Day 6: Cruise Along the Chobe River

    Traveling north pass through the area that some call ‘elephant alley’ because of the number of elephants that wander between Chobe National Park to the west and Zimbabwe’s Hwange National Park to the east to the town of Kasane – the launching point for Chobe National Park.

    Take a sunset cruise in the early evening on the Chobe River. Keep your eyes open for hippos, elephants, crocodiles, which all come down to the river for a drink or swim.

    Days 7-8: Marvel at the Power of Mighty Victoria Falls

    After an optional morning game drive in Chobe National Park, drive to the Zimbabwean border, and head to Victoria Falls. Once in town, there’ll be time to visit ‘the smoke that thunders’ – the mighty Victoria Falls. That night head out for a final group dinner (not included) with your travel companions. 

    The next day your tour has finished as of breakfast, but make sure to leave yourself enough time to partake in a few of the adventure activities, such as bungee jumping, scenic flight over the Falls, or walking with the lions, before you have to fly out.
