    Day 1: Drive along the Panorama Route

    This morning depart from Johannesburg and drive along the Panorama Route – one of South Africa’s most picturesque regions. Stop along the way at the breathtaking viewpoints of Blyde River Canyon, God’s Window, and Bourke’s Luck Potholes. 

    You’ll spend the night in the Timbavati concession, just on the edge of the famous Kruger National Park. Tonight you can begin your safari adventure with an optional night game drive in the concession.

    Days 2-3: Exploring the Famous Kruger National Park

    Get up early to go and tour a wildlife rehabilitation centre to learn a bit about the animals in the Greater Kruger National Park. The afternoon and the next day are spent exploring this stunning game park for wildlife, including the Big 5 – elephant, lion, rhino, leopard, and buffalo. 

    Book a dawn game walk or a night game drive with one of the park rangers to get a different perspective of the park as you observe the rare nocturnal animals and smaller creatures.

    Days 4-5: Discovering the Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary

    After a small game drive, leave the Kruger National Park for the Kingdom of Swaziland and the Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary. Though Swaziland is the smallest country in southern Africa, it has some of the best game reserves in the region. 

    Take the opportunity to explore this fantastic nature reserve on foot over the next two days. Learn about Swazi culture when you visit a traditional village in the afternoon of your first day. 

    The next day is yours to enjoy the beautiful surroundings either hiking around the area, exploring on mountain bike or by horseback, or if you want just relax at the camp site.

    Day 6: Cruising Around the iSimangaliso Wetland Park

    Today, you return to South Africa and travel through a subtropical region to the Natal coast. Spend the afternoon on an included lagoon cruise exploring the iSimangaliso Wetland Park – a world heritage site – for birds and hippos.

    Day 7: Game Viewing in Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Game Reserve

    Following an early wake up, journey to the Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Game Reserve for a morning game drive in some open 4x4 vehicles. The park is the only government-run park in KwaZulu-Natal with the Big 5, and has the largest population of white rhinos, thanks to conservation efforts. 

    Arrive in Durban in the late afternoon where your tour officially ends, though, your group may want to organise a final dinner at one of Durban’s many curry restaurants.
