    Days 1: Panorama Route, South Africa

    Leaving Johannesburg we travel towards the Panorama Route one of South Africa’s most scenic drives. The Panorama route consists of Bourke’s Luck Potholes and the Blyde River Canyon including God’s Window and Three Rondavels

    Days 2-3: Kruger National Park

    This morning we pack up and head towards the world famous Kruger National Park and immediately begin our first game drive in our truck. Truly the flagship of the South African national parks, Kruger is home to an impressive number of species: 336 trees, 49 fish, 34 amphibians, 114 reptiles, 507 birds and 147 mammals. We will spend the day driving through the park in our Nomad truck, which gives us an elevated view and increases our chance to spot the animals

    Day 4:Kruger to Swaziland

    travel through the province of Mpumalanga to Swaziland and continue through the country to the Hlane Royal National Park. This giant nature reserve is home to lions, elephants, and white rhinos, and was the private hunting ground of the Swazi Royal family.

    Days 5: Bilene

    Today we cross into Mozambique. Travelling north you can’t help but be captivated by the beautiful coastal scenery before arriving in Bilene. Located on a lagoon, you will have the opportunity to take a swim or stroll along the lagoon beach

    Days 6-7: Soaking Up the Sun in Inhambane

    Drive through various coconut plantations to the old European settlement of Inhambane. The coastal region in this part of the country is fairly laid back, and possesses some stunning beaches.

    There are plenty of optional activities to keep yourself busy from the already participated ones of snorkeling and scuba diving to new ones such as quad biking, fishing, and horseback riding.

    Day 8: Vilanculos

    Continue up the coast to the town of Vilanculos, the launching point for your Bazaruto Archipelago excursion. Once in Vilanculos, take the time to tour the town and maybe do some shopping at a local craft market.

    Day 9: Relaxing in Bazaruto

    Board a traditional sailing vessel of East Africa, a dhow, and sail to the islands of Bazaruto for two days of sun and sand in southern Africa’s largest marine park. Enjoy the next few days as you snorkel, swim, and relax in the crystal clear waters of the Indian Ocean

    Day 10: Touring the Capital City of Maputo

    Following breakfast, make your way south to the capital of Mozambique, Maputo, where you can partake in a city tour that includes the Fort of Nossa Senhora da Conceiao and the Central Railway Station. Recently independent, Mozambique is undergoing some major upgrades as the economy improves.

    Day 11:Snorkelling in Praia do Tofo

    This morning cross into Mozambique as you head for the coast and the stunning town of Praia do Tofo for the next two nights. There’s plenty to do here from diving and snorkeling among some of the best sites to surf, or if you want just relax on the white sandy beaches and enjoy the Mozambican sun. During whale shark season, Tofo is one of the best places to witness these large fish

    Days12: Touring the Capital City of Maputo

    Day 13: Graskop

    This morning you will have the opportunity to participate in a tour through Maputo, taking you through the historical Baixa area, the magnificent CFM train station (which was featured in Leonardo Di Caprio’s Blood Diamond) and whose dome is designed by Gustav Eiffel, Independence Square, the old fort, the botanical gardens and the Maputo Cathedral. After the city tour, we depart Maputo and return to South Africa and overnight in the town of Graskop.

    Day 14: Johannesburg

    After an early morning wake up, board the overland truck for the drive back, via the Panorama Route, to Johannesburg where your tour will end.
