    Days 1-2: Search for the Big 5 in Kruger National Park

    Leaving Johannesburg, travel through the scenic Panorama Route for the world-famous Kruger National Park. Your camp for the next two nights is situated just outside the park, a perfect starting point for tomorrow’s game drive. Spend the night sitting around the camp fire listening to the sounds of the wild. 

    The next day, embark on a full day of game viewing as you search for the animals you heard the night before. The park is home to the Big 5, along with another 140 mammals and even more birds, and reptiles. There will be the opportunity in the evening to go on an optional night game drive.

    Day 3: Explore the Town of Polokwane

    After a quick stop for supplies, you make your way from the Lowveld into the province of Mpumalanga towards the town of Polokwane. Stop along the way for some fantastic photos of the stunning Blyde River Canyon and God’s Window. Head into Polokwane in the evening to experience the night life.

    Day 4: Discover the Musina

    Still heading north, today is a long travel day as you head to the South African border town of Musina. Formerly a copper mining town, Musina withered away as the industry collapsed, however today it is a booming town that is steep in history.

    Day 5: Wander the Great Ruins of Zimbabwe

    Crossing into Zimbabwe, drive through this beautiful country to the town of Masvingo. Situated just outside of the Great Zimbabwe Ruins, Masvingo was the greatest medieval city in Southern Africa. The ruins near the city are the historic evidence of the ancient city. Wander the ruins before you set up camp.

    Days 6-7: Walk with Lions in Antelope Park

    Your journey continues through Zimbabwe’s midlands to the town of Gweru – the home of the famous Antelope Park. Don’t let the name fool you, there is plenty of game inside the park, such as lion, elephant, giraffes, and of course antelope. 

    The next day experience the opportunity to walk with lions, swim with elephants, or do some game viewing on a horse or in a safari vehicle.

    Days 8-9: Head Back in Time in Bulawayo

    Say goodbye to Gweru as you make your way to Bulawayo – Zimbabwe’s second biggest city. The city has kept much of its British Colonial character by preserving many of the historic buildings. The afternoon will be yours to enjoy, giving the opportunity to visit the Natural History Museum, or the National Arts Gallery. 

    On your second day, embark on a tour of the Matobo National Park in search of black and white rhinos, leopards, and the majestic black eagle. You can also visit the grave of Cecil John Rhodes for whom Zimbabwe was originally named after – Rhodesia. In the evening, return to your camp in Bulawayo.

    Day 10: Look upon the Mighty Victoria Falls

    Departing Bulawayo travel to the final destination of your adventure, Victoria Falls, take the rest of the day to explore this fantastic place. Victoria Falls is a member of the 7 Natural Wonders of the World, and won’t disappoint. The 1700m wide and 100m high falls has one of the largest sheets of falling water in the world during the rainy season.

    Day 11: Ending Your Tour in Victoria Falls

    After breakfast your tour officially ends, but try to organise your time to be able to partake in one of the many adventure activities in the area – walking with lions, scenic flight over the Falls, or white water rafting on the Zambezi.
