    Day 1: Making Your Way to Botswana

    Leaving Johannesburg head north and cross into Botswana to Palapye, your first night’s stop. Situated on the Lotsane River, spend your first night sitting around the fire getting to know your fellow travelers.

    Day 2: Learning About Rhino Conservation

    Today you get the chance to visit the community based project at the Khama Rhino Sanctuary. Formed in 1992, the project’s objective is to help save the vanishing rhino.

    After the visit, continue your adventure north to the town of Maun. Once in Maun, if time permits, visit a local crocodile farm or take a scenic flight over the Delta.

    Days 3-4: Exploring the Okavango Delta

    This morning make your way into the world’s largest inland delta – the Okavango Delta – for a 2-night excursion to this breathtaking place. Initially you’ll travel into the delta on 4x4 trucks, and if possible, then on mokoros – traditional dugout canoes.

    Spend the next 2 days exploring the Delta on foot searching for wildlife. This is an unforgettable experience as the wildlife here is not used to people.

    Day 5: Studying the Ancient Baobab Tree

    Say goodbye to the Delta as you travel east towards Gweta and the Planet Baobab on the Makgadikgadi Pans. Explore the area around the campsite, checking out the ancient Baobab trees that give the campsite its name.

    Day 6: Cruising Along the Chobe River

    Making your way north you come to the small town of Kasane – the gateway to the Chobe National Park. After some time to relax and set up camp, why not embark on a sunset cruise of the Chobe River. It’s a great way to observe some of wildlife in the national park, along with the chance to witness a stunning sunset.

    Day 7: Casting Your Eyes on Mighty Victoria Falls

    After an optional morning game drive, your journey continues to the adrenalin capital of Africa, Victoria Falls. On arrival, after a brief time to plan tomorrow’s activities, visit the mighty Falls and watch as the Zambezi plunges into the gorge below.

    In the evening, partake in a dinner cruise on the Zambezi and observe as the wildlife in this area come to the river’s edge for a drink and swim.

    Day 8: Get Your Heart Pumping at Vic Falls

    Today, though your tour ends after breakfast, you get to participate in all the activities you organised yesterday. Victoria Falls offers some excellent activities such as bungee jumping, rafting down the Zambezi, and walking with lions. This is why we recommend another night in Victoria Falls so you can participate in as many activities as you can.
