    Day 1: Driving Through the Panorama Route

    Leaving Johannesburg early, travel along the scenic Panorama Route stopping at the quaint village of Pilgrims Rest, and the viewpoints of Bourkes Luck Potholes and Blyde River Canyon.

    After your visits, you descend the escarpment into the Lowveld to your tented camp for the night in a private reserve connected to the Kruger National Park.

    Day 2: Exploring the Greater Kruger Area

    Begin your day with a light breakfast of coffee and rusks, before heading out on a morning game walk with a local tracker and your guide, searching for wildlife. Return to the camp for lunch and an afternoon of relaxing by the pool. Later, embark on an evening game drive searching for the nocturnal animals as they come alive.

    Day 3: Relaxing on the Sabie River

    This morning you set out through the bushbuck area to the quaint town of Hazyview and your accommodation for the night. Situated on the banks of the Sabie River, your lodge for the night is surrounded by indigenous subtropical forest, perfect for watching the local bird life, taking a walk in the forest, or relaxing by the swimming pool.

    Day 4: Game Viewing in the Kruger National Park

    Starting early, you make your way to world-famous Kruger National Park for a full day of game viewing. Experience the thrill of see these majestic animals, such as elephants, lions, leopards, in their natural habitat. Stop during the day for a picnic lunch before finishing the day at one of the park’s camps where you’ll be able to listen to the calls of the wild as you lay in your bed.

    Days 5-6: Discovering the Zululand

    Heading south, you enter the Kingdom of Swaziland and pass through some spectacular scenery as you re-enter South Africa and the area of Zululand. For the next two nights, you’ll stay at a rustic camp on a private reserved adjoining the world heritage site of St. Lucia.

    While in the area, spend some time wandering the reserve on a game walk, exploring the Hluhluwe Game Reserve on an open vehicle game drive, and visit a rural Zulu school.

    Day 7: Beach Time on the Dolphin Coast

    Today is a short travel day as you travel to the Dolphin Coast on the Indian Ocean. Spend the rest of the day relaxing in the warm waters of the ocean or soaking up the remaining sun of the day on the beach. Tonight, enjoy a traditional fish braai (barbeque) for dinner as you listen to the waves crash just meters away.

    Days 8-9: Hiking in the Drakensberg Mountains

    This morning, visit the cosmopolitan city of Durban spending some time at the Ushaka Marine World or exploring the Golden Mile, before you head inland to the massive Drakensberg Mountains. 

    Once at the base of the mountains, you transfer to a 4x4 vehicle to drive up to your cosy cabin high in the mountains. Spend the next two days discovering this wondrous place as you hike the many trails, book an optional pony trek, or simply relax among the serenity of the region.

    Day 10: Admiring the Art in Clarens

    After transferring by 4x4 back to your overland vehicle, you head through the Oliviershoek Pass and the Golden Gate National Park to the town of Clarens where you’ll stop for lunch. 

    Explore some of the art galleries that this town is well-known for, or experience the chance to go white water rafting. Later, continue on to your accommodation near the town of Ladybrand

    Days 11-12: Trekking in the Karoo

    Traveling along the lesser-known roads, you’ll make your way through the Karoo area passing some remote farming villages, like Nieu Bethesda, towards your final destination, a traditional farmstead. For the next two nights, enjoy staying in little stone cottages on the farm, as you explore the Sneeuberg Mountains, home to a variety of plants, animals, and bird life.

    Days 13-15: Experiencing the Garden Route

    Wake up early to head to the historic town of Graaff-Reinet, and the chance to wander the streets interacting with the locals and admiring the unique architecture. After your visit, cross the Outeniqua Mountains and make your way towards Knysna, your base for the next three nights.

    From your base, explore this spectacular region as you hike part of the ‘Otter Trail’ in Tsitsikamma National Park, visit the beautiful beaches and Knysna Heads, and the tranquil town of Knysna.

    Days 16-18: Climbing Table Mountain

    Departing Knysna, you drive west along the famed ‘ Whale Route’ and the coast until Sir Lowry’s Pass, where you’ll descend into the Cape Flats and the final destination of your journey, Cape Town, in the late afternoon. The rest of your first day in the Mother City will be yours to explore this cosmopolitan city. 

    The next two days will have you exploring the beautiful area that is the Cape Peninsula. Visit Cape Point, the penguins of Boulder, the fishing village of Hout Bay, the famous V&A Waterfront, and a wine farm to name a few activities. Additionally, your guide will organise a hike up the renowned Table Mountain.  Your tour will end in the late afternoon on day 18.
