    Day 1: Arrive at the Mighty Victoria Falls

    Arrive in Victoria Falls at any time as there are no organised activities. Try to arrive as early as possible, or a day earlier, so that you can partake in the many optional activities that Victoria Falls has to offer.

    Day 2: Watching the Sun Set on the Chobe River

    This morning depart from Victoria Falls and cross into Botswana for the town of Kasane. After setting up camp on the Chobe River, embark on a late afternoon cruise of the Chobe River. Keep your eyes open for your first glimpse of wildlife – elephants and hippos - as you make your way up the Chobe River.

    Day 3: Travelling South to Maun

    After breakfast, head south west to the gateway of the Okavango Delta – Maun. If time permits, take a scenic flight over this magnificent natural highlight to get an aerial view of where you’re going to spend the next few days. Spend the evening at the camp organising your pack for the optional excursion into the Delta.

    Days 4-5: Exploring the Okavango Delta

    Today, you get the opportunity to explore the world’s largest inland delta, and experience all of its magic. The day begins with a short drive in a 4x4 truck to a mokoro station. From there, float along the Delta’s waterways in a traditional dugout canoe to your bush camp. Later, your guides will take you out on an afternoon game walk in search of wildlife, such as elephants, buffalo and zebra.

    The next day continue your exploration of the Delta either on foot or by mokoro. Enjoy the tranquil setting of this magnificent and unique environment. Sit by a roaring fire in the evenings listening as the polers sing songs, and you hear the calls of the wild.

    For those not going on the optional Delta excursion, sit by the camp site’s swimming pool, explore the town of Maun, or book a day excursion into the Delta.

    Day 6: Flying Over the Delta

    Following a final game walk, break camp and set off back to Maun. You should arrive in the afternoon, giving enough time to explore Maun or if you didn’t do it before, take the optional scenic flight over the Delta. Otherwise, just sit back at the camp in Maun after a nice hot shower.

    Day 7: Making Your Way to Palapye

    An early departure from Maun sees you heading to Palapye in the southern part of Botswana. Well known as a mining town, Palapye is a popular overnight stop for those to stock up on supplies on their way to South Africa.

    Day 8: Crossing into South Africa

    This morning cross into South Africa and make your way through the Limpopo Province to your camp in Blydepoort. Spend the night relaxing after a long travel day.

    Days 9-10: Searching For the Big 5 in Kruger

    Departing from Blydepoort travel through the Lowveld towards the world-renowned Kruger National Park. After a small game drive in the park, return to the campsite for a relaxing evening sitting by a fire and listening to the sounds around you. 

    The next day, experience South Africa’s best known game park as you spend the day driving around searching for the famous ‘Big 5’ – elephant, lion, leopard, buffalo, and rhino. In total the park has 146 mammals, 500 species of birds, 114 reptiles, and 33 amphibians for you to attempt to observe.

    Day 11: Finishing in the City of Gold

    After breakfast, say ‘goodbye’ to the Kruger area and drive back to your final destination – Johannesburg. Your tour will end upon your arrival to the ‘City of Gold.’
