Parks & Destinations
With a fine collection of reserves and parks, some devoted to marine life and natural beauty as well as game, Kenya is a great place to explore.

Watch a pride of lion at work on a zebra carcass from the top of an overland truck in the world famous Masai Mara; point your camera at the many rhino in Lake Nakuru National Park; or get that famous photo of elephant standing in front of Kilimanjaro in Amboseli National Park.
Wildlife

From July to October one million wildebeest and 200 000 zebra move from the plains of the Serengeti across the croc-filled river to new pastures in the Masai Mara.

Lion, leopard, cheetah, hyena and vultures follow in their wake, relying on the huge herd for food.

At Lake Nakuru, the algae-soaked waters attract thousands of pink flamingos and pelicans.

Overlanders

Kenya’s people are friendly; the tourist trade is well organised and professional; and there’s a lot to see and do, making Kenya a hugely rewarding place to travel.

Kenya has many opportunities for trekking and climbing, especially on Mount Kenya. There are also numerous diving opportunities along Kenya’s coast. A must-do in Nairobi is to watch baby elephants feeding, and there is nothing as magical as floating over herds of wildlife in the Masai Mara in a colourful hot air balloon.
