DETAILED ITINERARY

Days 1-2: Excitement at Victoria Falls, Zambia
Meals: BB
Meet up with your tour group in Livingstone, Zambia, at 14h00.

The next two days provide the chance to explore the mighty Victoria Falls and take part in a range of exhilarating activities. Adrenaline junkies the world over flock to this extraordinary location, and with good reason.

World-class bungee jumping, whitewater rafting and canoe trips await you here, coupled with views that will knock you off your feet.

And there's no better way to experience the sheer scope and force of it all than to take to the skies.

Flights in microlights, helicopters and fixed-wing planes can be enjoyed all year round, offering incredible photo opportunities.

Day 3: Cruise Across Lake Kariba, Zambia
Meals: FB

Travel to Lake Kariba, home to flourishing wildlife.

Camping on the lake's shores offers fine bird watching and remarkable game viewing.

Hippos and crocodiles lounge in the waters, and it is not uncommon to stumble across a herd of elephant enjoying a well-deserved drink.

A sunset cruise here conjures up sights and sounds fit to grace any holiday.

Days 4-5: Canoe Down the Zambezi River
Meals: FB

The next two nights will be spent at a lodge overlooking the lush banks of the Zambezi River.

Enjoy a full day canoeing down the river, flanked by a remarkable abundance of game. The Zambezi supports a huge number of animals, including countless bird species.

Tuck into a satisfying meal in the evening, then relax around the campfire and listen to the African wilderness burst into life.

Day 6: Stock Up in Lusaka, Zambia
Meals: FB

Head for the vibrant city of Lusaka and stock up on supplies in the bustling markets of the Zambian capital.

Days 7-9: Explore the Luangwa Wilderness
Meals: FB

Make your way down into the valley of the Luangwa River, to the heart of the untamed Luangwa National Park.

Described as one of the greatest wildlife sanctuaries in the world, the park's vast wilderness plays host to a truly phenomenal variety of bird and animal species.

Camp along the banks of the river and explore the surrounding areas both on foot and on an exciting game drive, offering a glimpse at the never-ending fight for survival that dictates life in the African wilds.

Day 10: Journey to Lilongwe, Malawi
Meals: HB

Journey to Malawi, a land of diverse landscapes and spectacular mountain ranges. A place where people greet you with open arms. A country that has become known as the "warm heart of Africa".

Stock up on fresh supplies in the capital of Lilongwe and visit a few of its many charming shops and restaurants, greeted by smiling faces wherever you go.

Days 11-12: Go Snorkelling at Cape Maclear
Meals: FB

Camp on the beach at Cape Maclear, a World Heritage Site, in the Lake Malawi National Park.

Regarded as quite possibly the most scenic lake in Africa, a stay here is certain to provide views to remember. Your camp overlooks a series of beautiful, scattered islands, just begging to be explored.

Take boat trips out to the picturesque bays and coves in the area, or snorkel out to Otter Point and be dazzled by a sea of colours as giant schools of fish swim by.

Days 13-14: Head for Mozambique
Meals: FB

Make your way south through Blantyre, named after the birth place of legendary explorer David Livingstone, and enter Mozambique.

Head back over the Zambezi River, through the Tete region, camping en route.

Days 15-16: Relax on the Benguerra Beaches
Meals: HB

Arrive at Benguerra Island. The second largest island in the Bazaruto Archipelago, Benguerra Island is a place rich in culture.

Take a full day to explore your idyllic surroundings, including a trip on a local dhow; a traditional ocean-going trade vessel.

Enjoy leisurely walks across the soft white sands of picture-perfect beaches and go swimming in the soothing waters of the Indian Ocean.

Come evening, marvel at the wonders of a tropical sunset, before sitting down to some of the freshest seafood you'll ever taste.

Days 17-18: Visit Historical Inhambane
Meals: HB

The peaceful, protected bay of Inhambane stands as one of the oldest settlements on the East Coast, and was once a hub of activity.

Although during the modern era large ships have seldom made Inhambane their port of call, it still has the largest fleet of working dhows in Mozambique.

Arab influences are strongly evident here, dating back to when slaves, ivory and gold were traded. Explore the town's fascinating 170-year-old cathedral, before arriving at your reed cabin, sheltered by palms lining the beach.

Dhow rides and scuba diving to nearby coral reefs can be enjoyed at your own expense.

Days 19-20: Explore the Kruger National Park
Meals: FB

Enter the Greater Kruger National Park and Transfrontier Limpopo Park, ready for another couple of days of unforgettable game viewing.

The Kruger National Park stands as one of Africa's top three safari destinations, with the Big 5 roaming free across diverse and remarkably beautiful terrain.

Embark on more exciting game drives and spend time relaxing in the tranquil wilderness.

Day 21: End Your Tour in Johannesburg
Meals: BB

Leave on an early morning game drive, before packing up and heading back to Johannesburg.

Arrive in the city around 18h00 and reflect on an amazing 21-day getaway.
