14 Day Gorilla Encounter
Explore the forests of Uganda in search of the great Mountain Gorilla and Chimpanzee on this 14 Day Gorilla & Wild life encounter. Game parks, landscapes and culture is what this overland camping encounter tour is all about. Starting in Nairobi, take in East Africa’s diverse scenery, from Kenya’s lake-studded ‘Great Rift Valley’ to the terraced hillsides of Uganda and a very special wildlife encounter with the magnificent mountain gorillas and chimpanzee in their natural habitat.
Spend some time on Lake Bunyonyi, aptly called ‘Place of Many Little Birds’. The lake is a beautifully tranquil spot where you can enjoy many activities in and around our camp. This tour includes chimp trekking in Queen Elizabeth National Park and gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. This is paid at the time of booking. The best game viewing is the early morning and so each day begins at the first hint of dawn with a coffee and light breakfast around the fire.
