    Day 1: Learn About Rhinos at Khama Rhino Sanctuary

    Leave Johannesburg early in the morning, heading north to the Botswana border. After the border formalities, continue on to your chalet at the Khama Rhino Sanctuary. 

    Founded in 1992, the Sanctuary is a community based project designated to help save the endangered rhino. Spend the rest of the afternoon learning about these majestic creatures.

    Day 2: Stay the Night in Maun

    Drive through the Kalahari sandveld to the small frontier town of Maun for the night. The rest of the day will be yours to prepare for your 2-night excursion into the Okavango Delta.

    Days 3-4: Explore the Okavango Delta

    This morning transfer to 4x4 vehicles and drive into world’s largest inland delta, the Okavango Delta for 2 nights of bush camping in a remote part of the delta. Your accommodations for your time in the delta is a semi-permanent tent with a mattress and sleeping bag. 

    Spend your days exploring this unique and fantastic ecosystem on foot or by mokoro with your local guide. Search for the large numbers of wildlife in the region, such as elephant, buffalo, and hippos.

    Day 5: Get Cleaned Up in Maun

    After a morning game walk with your local guide, you’ll return to camp and pack up for your departure out of the Delta, returning to Maun by mid-afternoon. Enjoy a nice hot shower and some time by the pool at the lodge.

    Days 6-7: Game Viewing in Moremi Game Reserve

    Hop into an open 4x4 vehicle and head for the stunning Moremi Game Reserve for some fantastic game viewing. Spend 2 days exploring this amazing reserve for lion, hippos, and other game. 

    In the evenings, experience the beauty of bush camping in the wild as you listen to the sounds around you.

    Day 8: Return to Maun

    Take a final game drive in the morning before returning to Maun in the early afternoon. Spend the rest of the afternoon relaxing at the lodge, and enjoying another hot shower after 2 nights of bush camping.

    Day 9: Experience the Makgadikadi Pans

    This morning, why not complete your Delta and Moremi experience with an optional scenic flight over this spectacular area before driving to the Makgadikgadi Pans near Nata. 

    This saltpan, which is the size of Switzerland, is usually an endless plain of white, until the rains come. Then the area drastically changes as impressive numbers of wildlife come to graze on the grasslands.

    Days 10-11: Search for Elephants in Chobe

    Today is a bit of a long travel day as you drive north along the eastern edge of the Chobe National Park to your lodge in Kasane. Keep an eye out for elephants as occasionally these majestic animals wander by the highway. 

    Wake up early the next day and head into the park to search for lions, elephants, and other wildlife. Later in the afternoon, embark on a sunset cruise of the Chobe River to view more wildlife. Both the Park and River are famous for offering visitors the chance to view large herds of elephants.

    Days 12-13: View Mighty Victoria Falls

    Crossing into Zambia, make your way to the border town of Livingstone on the Zambezi River, and Zambia’s home of Victoria Falls. Take the opportunity to view the mighty Falls in the afternoon before taking an optional sunset cruise on the Zambezi River. 

    The day will be yours to enjoy the many optional activities that are available. Spend the morning white water rafting on the Zambezi, then go abseiling in Batoka Gorge, before taking a lion walk at a rehabilitation centre.

    Day 14: End Your Tour in Livingstone

    Take an optional scenic flight over the Falls before breakfast and the end of your tour.
